San Ysidro Cougars defeat St. Mary's Knights 88-79 in Arizona high school basketball game

San Ysidro Point Guard Sebastian Medina led all scorers with 38 points as the Cougars beat <a href=’/arizona/basketball/teams/317-st-marys-knights’ alt=’St. Mary’s Knights’> St. Mary’s Knights</a> 88-79 in a game at @ Torrey Pines HS.

Medina’s points came on 9 field goals, 4 three pointers and 8 of 8 free throws during the game.

Styles Phipps added 35. St. Mary’s fell to 4-4 overall while San Ysidro improved their record to 8-5.

St. Mary’s’ next game is scheduled to be played at on Saturday Jan. 1 versus Peoria. San Ysidro will host Mira Costa on Thursday Dec. 30
