Walnut Ridge Bobcats edge Piggott Mohawks 45-43 in Arkansas high school basketball game
PIGGOTT HIGH SCHOOL -
Walnut Ridge Shooting Guard Kayleene Long led the way with 11 points as the Bobcats beat Piggott Mohawks 45-43 in a game at PIGGOTT HIGH SCHOOL.
Long’s points came on 1 field goal and 3 three pointers during the game.
Emma Hooten added 18. Piggott fell to 6-9 overall while Walnut Ridge improved their record to 8-12.
Piggott’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Feb. 1 versus East Poinsett County. Walnut Ridge will travel to Rivercrest High School on Thursday Feb. 3 to play Rivercrest.
