Maynard’s Amanda Nelson led all scorers with 19 points as the Tigers beat Piggott Mohawks 56-38 in a game at Maynard HIGH SCHOOL.

Nelson’s points came on 3 field goals, 3 three pointers and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Emma Hooten added 12. Piggott fell to 1-1 overall while Maynard improved their record to 6-8.

Piggott’s next game is scheduled to be played at Gosnell HIGH SCHOOL on Monday Dec. 6 versus Gosnell. Maynard will host Southland on Monday Dec. 6
