Piggott Mohawks edge Armorel Tigers 50-45 in Arkansas high school basketball game

Piggott Guard Emma Hooten led all scorers with 23 points as the Mohawks beat Armorel Tigers 50-45 in a game at Piggott, AR.

Hooten’s points came on 2 field goals, 5 three pointers and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Abby Simmons added 15. Armorel fell to 6-11 overall while Piggott improved their record to 3-3.

Armorel’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Monday Dec. 20 versus Bay. Piggott will travel to Corning High School on Thursday Dec. 16 to play Corning.
