Piggott Mohawks defeat East Poinsett County Warriors 70-51 in Arkansas high school basketball game

PIGGOTT HIGH SCHOOL -

Piggott Guard Emma Langley led all scorers with 25 points as the Mohawks beat East Poinsett County Warriors 70-51 in a game at PIGGOTT HIGH SCHOOL.

Langley’s points came on 6 field goals, 2 three pointers and 7 of 12 free throws during the game.

Kelis Garrett Garrett added 13. East Poinsett County fell to 2-14 overall while Piggott improved their record to 7-9.

East Poinsett County’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Feb. 3 versus Marmaduke. Piggott will travel to Osceola HIGH SCHOOL on Thursday Feb. 3 to play Osceola.
