Christian Patriots edges Vista Panthers 61-57 in California high school basketball game

Christian’s Dom Safarta led the way with 15 points as the Patriots beat Vista Panthers 61-57 in a game at Orange Glen high school .

Safarta’s points came on 4 field goals and 7 of 12 free throws during the game.

Matthew Rivera added 16. Vista fell to 3-8 overall while Christian improved their record to 8-2.

Vista’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 7 at 7:00pm versus Torrey Pines. Christian will host Classical Academy on Friday Jan. 3 at 6:30pm.
