Buckley’s Sara Mavany led the way with 10 points as the Griffins beat Le Lycee Lions 28-26 in a game at 3900 Stansbury Avenue, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423.

Mavany’s points came on 5 field goals during the game.

Isabella Samuel added 12. Le Lycee fell to 0-3 overall while Buckley improved their record to 1-0.

Le Lycee’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Monday Dec. 12 versus Mesrobian. Buckley will host Archer School For Girls on Monday Jan. 9
