East Chicago Central defeats Crown Point 39-33

East Chicago Central’s Taiyanna Jackson led all scorers with 20 points as the Cardinals beat Crown Point 39-33 in a game at Crown Point High School.”

Jackson’s points came on 7 field goals, 1 three pointer and 3 of 6 free throws during the game.

Crown Point was led by Mya Scheidt’s 14 points and Caitlyn Phillips added 9. Crown Point fell to 2-2 overall while East Chicago Central improved their record to 0-0.

Crown Point’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Nov. 24 at 4:00pm versus LaPorte.
