Valparaiso defeats Crown Point 49-36

Valparaiso’s Taelynn Oelling led all scorers with 18 points as the Vikings beat Crown Point 49-36 in a game at Crown Point High School.”

Oelling’s points came on 5 field goals, 2 three pointers and 2 of 4 free throws during the game.

Crown Point was led by Mya Scheidt’s 15 points and Ellie VanDeel added 6. Crown Point fell to 5-5 overall while Valparaiso improved their record to 0-0.

Crown Point’s next game is scheduled to be played at Highland High School on Tuesday Dec. 12 at 4:00pm versus Highland.
