Lafayette Jefferson’s Nykela Haskins led all scorers with 14 points as the Bronchos beat Crown Point 49-40 in a game at Crown Point High School.”

Haskins’ points came on 2 field goals, 3 three pointers and 1 of 3 free throws during the game.

Crown Point was led by Ellie VanDeel’s 12 points and Caitlyn Phillips added 8. Crown Point fell to 6-7 overall while Lafayette Jefferson improved their record to 0-0.

Crown Point’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Jan. 11 at 4:00pm versus Munster.
