Danville’s Jocelyn Pearcy led all scorers with 14 points as the Warriors beat Monrovia Wildcats 42-29 in a game at Monrovia.

Pearcy’s points came on 6 field goals and 2 of 3 free throws during the game.

Reagan Stader added 10. Monrovia fell to 0-1 overall while Danville improved their record to 8-2.

Monrovia’s next game is scheduled to be played at Monrovia on Tuesday Jan. 26 versus Danville. Danville will host Whiteland on Wednesday Jan. 27
