St. Charles Guard Lindsey Pumford led all scorers with 14 points as the Bulldogs beat Merrill Vandals 54-36 in a game at St. Charles Community Middle/Hig.

Pumford’s points came on 5 field goals, 1 three pointer and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Linzi Wiley added 10. Merrill fell to 0-1 overall while St. Charles improved their record to 5-0.

St. Charles will host Montabella on Tuesday Feb. 23
