Alexandria Cardinals defeat Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres 15-6 in Minnesota high school football game

Alexandria High School Evan Lattimer accumulated 146 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to guide the Alexandria Cardinals to a 15-6 win over the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Cardinals also received impressive efforts from Andrew Revering who caught 6 passes for 91 yards and 1 touchdown and Jaden Ebel who rushed 11 times for 23 yards.
Sartell-St. Stephen’s quarterback Cole Hentges threw for 93 yards and 1 touchdown and wide receiver Dylan Simones had 55 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The win helps Alexandria improve to 3-3 on the season while Sartell-St. Stephen falls to 2-4-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Alexandria will take on the Elk River Elks at home on Friday October 14. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
Sartell-St. Stephen will take on the Bemidji Lumberjacks at home on Wednesday October 19. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
