Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints cruises by Canby Lancers 56-35 in Minnesota high school basketball game

Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg’s Maret Gjerde led all scorers with 17 points as the Fighting Saints beat Canby Lancers 56-35 in a game at Canby.

Gjerde’s points came on 5 three pointers and 2 of 6 free throws during the game.

Hannah Jelen added 8. Canby fell to 0-1 overall while Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg improved their record to 9-9.

Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg will travel to Dawson on Tuesday Jan. 29 at 5:30pm to play Dawson Boyd.
