Velma Jackson’s #999 led all scorers with 52 points as the Falcons beat Yazoo County Panthers 61-46 in a game at Velma Jackson High School.

999’s points came on 16 field goals, 2 three pointers and 14 of 15 free throws during the game.

Malachi Morton added 21. Yazoo County fell to 1-4 overall while Velma Jackson improved their record to 2-3.

Yazoo County’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Saturday Dec. 4 versus Yazoo City. Velma Jackson will host Madison Central on Thursday Dec. 2
