Pontotoc Warriors edges Itawamba Agricultural Indians 24-21 in Mississippi high school football game

Pontotoc High School Quarterback Conner Armstrong had 145 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to guide Pontotoc Warriors to a 24-21 win over Itawamba Agricultural Indians on Friday night at Pontotoc High School in a high school football game.
The Warriors also received impressive efforts from Running Back Jordan Ball who rushed 21 times for 140 yards and 1 touchdown and Wide Receiver Cade Armstrong who caught 7 passes for 62 yards and 1 touchdown.
Itawamba Agricultural’s Quarterback Ty Davis threw for 231 yards and 2 touchdowns and Wide Receiver Tae Chandler picked up 1 rushing yard and 1 touchdown.
The win helps Pontotoc improve to 7-1 on the season while Itawamba Agricultural falls to 4-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
