Nettleton Tigers defeat Walnut Wildcats 50-44 in Mississippi high school basketball game

Nettleton Combo Guard Madison Miller led the way with 21 points as the Tigers beat Walnut Wildcats 50-44 in a game at Walnut Attendance Center.

Miller’s points came on 5 field goals, 2 three pointers and 5 of 9 free throws during the game.

Madilynn Vuncannon added 31. Walnut fell to 5-4 overall while Nettleton improved their record to 7-3.

Walnut’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Monday Dec. 13 versus Hickory Flat. Nettleton will host Okolona on Thursday Dec. 16
