Kossuth Aggies edge Belmont Cardinals 58-55 in Mississippi high school basketball game

Kossuth’s Zoe Essary led all scorers with 17 points as the Aggies beat Belmont Cardinals 58-55 in a game at Kossuth High School.

Essary’s points came on 4 field goals and 3 three pointers during the game.

Mary Grace Storment added 16. Belmont fell to 21-2 overall while Kossuth improved their record to 7-2.

Belmont’s next game is scheduled to be played at Red Bay High School on Friday Jan. 29 versus Red Bay. Kossuth will travel to Amory High School on Friday Jan. 29 to play Amory.
