Hoggard Vikings defeat West Brunswick Trojans 28-14 in North Carolina high school football game

Hoggard High School quarterback Sam Jones racked up 88 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to help the Hoggard Vikings to a 28-14 win over the West Brunswick Trojans on Friday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.
The Vikings also received helpful efforts from running back Henry Heitman who rushed 11 times for 62 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Cayden Hollar who rushed 8 times for 62 yards and 1 touchdown.
West Brunswick’s JAVAN MCCRAY threw for 113 yards and 1 touchdown, Kevon Daniels picked up 52 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and JJ Cobb had 106 receiving yards.
The win helps Hoggard improve to 3-1 on the season while West Brunswick falls to 0-3-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Hoggard travels to Hampstead, NC to take on the Topsail Pirates on Friday September 24. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
