Beaverton Guard Brady Rice led the way with 22 points as the Beavers beat Central Catholic Rams 54-52 in a game at Liberty HS.

Rice’s points came on 6 field goals, 2 three pointers and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Luke Johnson added 22. Central Catholic fell to 4-3 overall while Beaverton improved their record to 5-2.

Central Catholic’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Jan. 5 versus Sandy. Beaverton will host South Eugene on Tuesday Jan. 4
