Beaverton Beavers edge Cleveland Warriors 66-65 in Oregon high school basketball game

Beaverton Guard Brady Rice led all scorers with 31 points as the Beavers beat Cleveland Warriors 66-65 in a game at Liberty High School, Hillsboro.

Rice’s points came on 6 field goals, 4 three pointers and 7 of 9 free throws during the game.

Lawson Vella added 14. Cleveland fell to 5-1 overall while Beaverton improved their record to 6-2.

Cleveland’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Tuesday Jan. 4 versus Madison. Beaverton will host South Eugene on Tuesday Jan. 4
