Cleveland Guard Lawson Vella led the way with 30 points as the Warriors beat Lake Oswego Lakers 85-77 in a game at Liberty High School, Hillsboro.

Vella’s points came on 5 field goals, 5 three pointers and 5 of 6 free throws during the game.

Winters Grady added 35. Lake Oswego fell to 2-8 overall while Cleveland improved their record to 6-1.

Lake Oswego’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Tuesday Jan. 4 versus Westview. Cleveland will travel to on Tuesday Jan. 4 to play Madison.
