South Medford Panthers beat Roosevelt Roughriders 58-39 in Oregon high school basketball game

South Medford Guard Jackson Weiland led all scorers with 27 points as the Panthers beat Roosevelt Roughriders 58-39 in a game at Garfield HS (Seattle).

Weiland’s points came on 8 field goals, 3 three pointers and 2 of 3 free throws during the game.

Dante Washington added 9. Roosevelt fell to 1-8 overall while South Medford improved their record to 4-4.

Roosevelt’s next game is scheduled to be played at Rainier Beach High School on Friday Jan. 13 versus Rainier Beach. South Medford will host La Salle on Tuesday Dec. 27
