Ione Cardinals beat Mitchell/Spray Eagles 54-48 in Oregon high school basketball game

Ione’s Hunter Padberg led all scorers with 22 points as the Cardinals beat Mitchell/Spray Eagles 54-48 in a game at Ione.

Padberg’s points came on 9 field goals and 4 of 4 free throws during the game.

H Hicol added 15. Mitchell/Spray fell to 1-1 overall while Ione improved their record to 2-16.

Ione will host Dufur on Friday Jan. 25 at 5:30pm.
