Mitchell’s Leven Whitbeck led all scorers with 26 points as the Tigers beat Madras White Buffaloes 42-38 in a game at Sherman County School.

Whitbeck’s points came on 5 field goals, 4 three pointers and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Michael Picard added 10. Madras fell to 0-1 overall while Mitchell improved their record to 1-0.

Madras’ next game is scheduled to be played at Sherman County School on Saturday Dec. 3 versus Sherman.
