Poteet’s Jamal Ford led all scorers with 20 points as the Pirates beat North Forney 77-75 in a game at North Forney High School.”

Ford’s points came on 4 field goals, 2 three pointers and 6 of 9 free throws during the game.

North Forney was led by jackson Enels ‘s 23 points and Barclay Ford added 21. North Forney fell to 0-0 overall while Poteet improved their record to 4-2.

Poteet will travel to Highland Park High School on Tuesday Jan. 2 at 7:00pm to play Highland Park.
