Milton Yellowjackets defeat Richford Falcons 61-46 in Vermont high school basketball game

Milton’s Colin Mathis led all scorers with 22 points as the Yellowjackets beat Richford Falcons 61-46 in a game at Richford Jr-Sr High School.

Mathis’ points came on 7 field goals, 2 three pointers and 2 of 5 free throws during the game.

Carter Blaney added 12. Richford fell to 1-3 overall while Milton improved their record to 2-3.

Richford’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Dec. 30 versus Christ Covenant. Milton will host Bellows Free Academy St. Albans on Wednesday Dec. 29
