Winooski Spartans edge Richford Falcons 66-61 in Vermont high school basketball game

Winooski’s S Mc Iver led all scorers with 18 points as the Spartans beat Richford Falcons 66-61 in a game at Winooski High School.

Mc Iver’s points came on 3 field goals and 4 three pointers during the game.

Jerrick Jacobs added 16. Richford fell to 3-5 overall while Winooski improved their record to 5-0.

Richford’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 18 versus Stowe. Winooski will travel to BFA Fairfax on Tuesday Jan. 18 to play Bellows Free Academy Fairfax.
