University Titans beat Cheney Blackhawks 53-47 in Washington high school basketball game

University Point Guard Tyler Nelson led the way with 13 points as the Titans beat Cheney Blackhawks 53-47 in a game at Cheney High School.

Nelson’s points came on 1 field goal, 3 three pointers and 2 of 6 free throws during the game.

Evan Stinson added 16. Cheney fell to 0-1 overall while University improved their record to 1-0.

Cheney’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Dec. 9 versus North Central. University will travel to Ridgeline HS on Friday Dec. 9 to play Ridgeline.
