University Titans edge Mead Panthers 61-59 in Washington high school basketball game

University Point Guard Tyler Nelson led the way with 20 points as the Titans beat Mead Panthers 61-59 in a game at University High School.

Nelson’s points came on 2 field goals, 2 three pointers and 10 of 12 free throws during the game.

Liam Blanchat added 22. Mead fell to 1-2 overall while University improved their record to 4-0.

Mead’s next game is scheduled to be played at Ferris High School on Friday Dec. 16 versus Ferris. University will host North Central on Friday Dec. 16
