Mead Panthers cruises by Cheney Blackhawks 49-24 in Washington high school basketball game

Mead Guard Teryn Gardner led the way with 11 points as the Panthers beat Cheney Blackhawks 49-24 in a game at CHS.

Gardner’s points came on 2 field goals, 2 three pointers and 1 of 3 free throws during the game.

Emma Evans added 15. Cheney fell to 2-5 overall while Mead improved their record to 6-1.

Cheney’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Saturday Jun. 5 versus Central Valley. Mead will host Lewis & Clark on Saturday Jun. 5
