Mead Panthers cruises by Gonzaga Prep Bullpups 68-47 in Washington high school basketball game

Mead’s Haley Burns led all scorers with 19 points as the Panthers beat Gonzaga Prep Bullpups 68-47 in a game at Gonzaga Preparatory School.

Burns’ points came on 7 field goals, 1 three pointer and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Sitara Byrd added 17. Gonzaga Prep fell to 12-4 overall while Mead improved their record to 14-0-1.

Gonzaga Prep’s next game is scheduled to be played at North Central High School on Tuesday Jan. 25 versus North Central. Mead will host Central Valley on Tuesday Jan. 25
