Gonzaga Prep Bullpups defeat University Titans 56-47 in Washington high school basketball game

Gonzaga Prep Wing Sitara Byrd led all scorers with 24 points as the Bullpups beat University Titans 56-47 in a game at Gonzaga Preparatory School.

Byrd’s points came on 9 field goals, 1 three pointer and 3 of 6 free throws during the game.

Eliannah Ramirez added 19. University fell to 6-10 overall while Gonzaga Prep improved their record to 14-4.

University’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Feb. 1 versus Mead. Gonzaga Prep will host Ferris on Tuesday Feb. 1
