LaConner Braves edge Nooksack Valley Pioneers 41-40 in Washington high school basketball game

La Conner’s Sarah Cook led the way with 12 points as the Braves beat Nooksack Valley Pioneers 41-40 in a game at LaConner.

Cook’s points came on 5 field goals and 2 of 3 free throws during the game.

Devin Coppinger added 14. Nooksack Valley fell to 0-1 overall while La Conner improved their record to 2-0.

Nooksack Valley’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Monday Dec. 6 versus Ferndale. La Conner will host Anacortes on Saturday Dec. 4
