Pomeroy’s Madison Dixon led all scorers with 14 points as the Pirates beat Lakeland 44-27 in a game at West Valley High School.”

Dixon’s points came on 7 field goals during the game.

Lakeland was led by Lauryn Cooper’s 10 points and Sofi Schnepf added 6. Lakeland fell to 1-1 overall while Pomeroy improved their record to 1-0.

Lakeland’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Dec. 29 at 2:59pm versus Pullman.
