Ephrata’s Cody Black led all scorers with 23 points as the Tigers beat Shadle Park Highlanders 49-46 in a game at Shadle Park High School.

Black’s points came on 3 field goals, 5 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Ronan Redd added 21. Shadle Park fell to 0-1 overall while Ephrata improved their record to 1-0.

Shadle Park’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Saturday Dec. 17 versus Cheney. Ephrata will host Prosser on Friday Dec. 16
