Medical Lake Cardinals cruises by Rogers Pirates 55-23 in Washington high school basketball game

Medical Lake’s Charde Luat led all scorers with 25 points as the Cardinals beat Rogers Pirates 55-23 in a game at Medical Lake.

Luat’s points came on 8 field goals and 9 of 12 free throws during the game.

Emily Peabody added 12. Rogers fell to 0-1 overall while Medical Lake improved their record to 1-0.

Rogers’ next game is scheduled to be played at North Central High School on Monday Dec. 5 versus North Central. Medical Lake will travel to Northwest Christian JH/HS on Tuesday Dec. 6 to play Northwest Christian School.
