RB Kaden Slepica racked up 137 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to lead Cambridge-Isanti to a 22-0 win over Sartell-St. Stephen on Friday night.

The Bluejackets also received key efforts from RB Ryley Nelson who rushed 13 times for 52 yards and QB Brody Nelson who rushed 5 times for 38 yards and 1 touchdown.

Sartell-St. Stephen’s RB Cody Neitzke picked up 82 rushing yards.

With the loss, Sartell-St. Stephen falls to 0-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Sartell-St. Stephen travels to Alexandria, MN to face off against the Alexandria Cardinals on Friday September 7 at 5:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
