Pontotoc Warriors beat Houston Hilltoppers 28-12 in Mississippi high school football game

Pontotoc High School Running Back Jemarkus Whitfield picked up 91 rushing yards to help Pontotoc Warriors to a 28-12 win over Houston Hilltoppers on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Warriors also received major efforts from Running Back Jordan Ball who rushed 8 times for 90 yards and 3 touchdowns and Quarterback Conner Armstrong who completed 10 passes for 58 yards and 1 touchdown.
Houston’s Quarterback Martavious Parker threw for 131 yards, Running Back Jalen Washington picked up 91 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Wide Receiver Shemar Crawford had 99 receiving yards.
The win helps Pontotoc improve to 2-1 on the season while Houston falls to 2-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Pontotoc travels to Ripley, MS to take on the Ripley Tigers on Friday September 25. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
