Union Cougars defeat American Leadership Academy Eagles 14-3 in Utah high school football game

Union High School Quarterback Boone Latham racked up 120 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to lead Union Cougars to a 14-3 win over American Leadership Academy Eagles on Friday night at Union High School in a high school football game.

The Cougars also received key efforts from Joey Sampson who rushed 17 times for 62 yards and 1 touchdown and Imged Alatabi who caught 8 passes for 58 yards.

American Leadership Academy’s Dillon holt threw for 108 yards, Richard crevisten picked up 61 rushing yards and Jason messerley had 69 receiving yards.

The win helps Union improve to 3-4 on the season while American Leadership Academy falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
